Take it to the bridge

I sorted out the problem with the wifi connection this morning. This notebook has a bridge from the ethernet to the wifi enabled by default, and when either of them was disconnected it all got horribly confused. By a process of elimination I removed both networks from the bridge and voila - it works!

I'm currently sat on my bed upstairs with an 11Mbs wifi connection to the internet - how nifty is that? :-)
